Description
2004, deep in the heart of New England, history was rewritten. Brewers in Vermont threw away the rule books and redefined what an IPA could be. Gone was the overpowering bitterness, gone was the grassy flavour from over dry-hopping and gone were the days when clarity reigned supreme. The hazy, New England IPA was born and it proved that beers don’t need history to take over the world.
Six Stripe Hazy IPA embraces everything that those New England brewers proposed way back when. As well as a reassuring alcohol content, our biggest malt bill yet brings the one thing that those noughties craftsters held dear: haze. This fine haze, essential to the New England style, provides a soft, full mouthfeel that is both juicy sweet and refreshingly crisp. Our all American hop profile provides a complex palate of earthy citrus that plays against a tropical pine palate. For this recipe we chose an English ale yeast coupled with early dry-hopping. The combination brings a whole new-world of textures and tropical flavours that are the hall marks of craft beer all over the world.
This all-grain beer kit includes all the grain and hops that you’ll need to make this traditional Extra Special Bitter along with a package of English ale yeast for fermentation. We have also included an instructional card and links to other resources for a worry-free brew day.

Kit came with everything needed, the grain bill plus hops. On each of the hop packet was the time when each hop should be added. They had even made some cool labels to put on your bottles.
